Pencil to Pixel
I start by listening — to the brand, the audience, the goal — then translate that into design that's bold enough to stand out and disciplined enough to stay on-brand, from first sketch to final file.
01
Discover
I start by reading the brief closely — understanding what the client is asking for, who the work needs to reach, and what success looks like for them.
03
Present concepts
I bring a handful of early directions to the client and walk through the thinking behind each one, listening closely to which concepts resonate and why.
05
Present drafts
I present the draft to the client, explaining the choices behind it and gathering their reactions, questions, and preferences.
07
Deliver
Once approved, I export final files in whatever format the project calls for — PNG, PDF, or print-ready files — ready for use.
02
Sketch
From there, I move into rough concepts — sketching by hand or on my iPad to explore directions quickly, before committing time to any single idea.
04
Draft
Using that feedback — along with any additional inspiration — I develop the strongest direction into a full, polished draft.
06
Refine
I apply revisions based on that feedback, refining the work until it's aligned with the client's vision.
