Houston Astros — Uvalde Strong
The Brief
Design a logo and banner Astros fans could rally around in the wake of the Uvalde shooting.
My Approach
This brief called for restraint as much as design skill — the piece needed to give fans something to hold onto without feeling exploitative of a tragedy. I kept the logo simple and the tone respectful, building a banner that let the community, not the design, carry the message.
My Role
Logo and banner design.
Why It's Here
A real-world, emotionally weighted brief that shows judgment under pressure — the kind of decision-making that doesn't come through in a typical promotional piece.

Atlanta Braves — Happy Kwanzaa Graphic
The Brief
The social media team needed a holiday graphic honoring Kwanzaa — one that felt authentic to the holiday, not like a logo slapped on a generic template.
My Approach
I researched how other brands had approached Kwanzaa creative in the past, along with what the Braves had done for other cultural holidays, to understand the visual language already in use. From there, the challenge was balance: the piece needed to read as unmistakably Braves, while still centering and respecting Kwanzaa's own symbolism and colors. I worked directly with the AEC director throughout to make sure the final design met that bar before it went out.
My Role
Concept, research, and design — in close collaboration with the AEC director on cultural accuracy and sign-off.
Why It's Here
This one's less about the visual and more about the process behind it — knowing when a brand graphic needs outside research and a second set of eyes, not just a template swap.

Atlanta Braves — Happy Thanksgiving Graphic
The Brief
A social media graphic to celebrate Thanksgiving, built to represent the full breadth of “Braves Country” — including a Spanish-language version and a companion stats graphic.
My Approach
Rather than one generic post, I designed a small family of graphics — the primary piece, a Spanish translation, and a stats-driven companion — so the campaign could speak to different segments of the fanbase without diluting the core design.
The Result
The post reached 20K+ people and drew 61 comments — one of the stronger-performing organic social pieces from that season.
My Role
Graphic and design execution for the campaign.
